Set Goals That Will Help Your Business and Your Life! Post it on the Mirror!

This year is a great time to get your business off to a good start with the right goals and a good attitude. Here are a few tips that you can post on your mirror and follow each day!

1. Let go of past failures

Do not dwell on the past. If you’ve had a lot of failures, you are going to have to let those go. Start now and make your life fresh. It can be whatever you want it to be and drudging up the past can’t make it right, it will only hurt your future.

Weight loss is a big goal that a lot of people set, year after year, but do not accomplish. The past has nothing and I’ll say it again… nothing to do with your future. Let it go or you’ll be doomed to repeat it over and over again.

2. Set realistic goals

If you need to lose 200 lbs you’re probably not going to lose it in a year and if you want to be a millionaire in your business you’re probably not going to get there in a year either. (Probably is the operative word, because anything is possible).

If you set goals that are too big you’re setting yourself up to fail. Now I am not saying that you should set little tiny insignificant goals either. Think about what you really want from this year and set a goal that will force you to work hard and stretch but that is also attainable and you’ll be on the right track.

3. Create a plan of action

It’s crazy to set a goal without also giving yourself a way to accomplish it.

You can say “I want to lose 50 lbs.” all day long but unless you set up a diet and exercise plan, you are never going to get there. The same is true for your business. If you want to make $50,000 this year, you’ll need to set yourself up to succeed by creating a blueprint for success.

How many hours a week are you going to work? What are you going to be doing to generate leads? How much will you be marketing vs. how long will you be training your team? You’re going to have to ask yourself all these things and more if you really want to win in 2009.

4. Don’t make excuses

A real winner doesn’t make excuses. You will not always follow your blueprint to the letter, but work hard to correct it right away and move on. Successful people make plans, not excuses.

5. Ignore the stumbles

“Well I ate a piece of birthday cake yesterday so I might as well eat this pizza today.” It is inevitable that you’re going to stumble a little bit, but don’t let that one time thing turn into a habit and ruin your plans and dreams. Just get right back in the game and act like it never happened.

6. Find a partner

Finding a partner, teammate or friend who shares your goals is a great way to stay on track. Chances are they will be motivated when you’re not and you’ll be motivated when they’re not. Having a partner in your goals gives you the accountability that we all need from time to time!

7. Celebrate you victories

It can be said that losing 5 pounds is as big of a victory as losing 50. So make sure to celebrate the little victories in your business as it grows. Making your first $100, $1000 or signing your first customer up is something to get really excited about! It means you are well on your way to creating a strong and life-changing business!

Never forget about the little steps along the way that allow you to reach your big goals!

If you follow these steps, you will be sure to succeed, wither it is in your business, on your diet, or in your life. Get busy and do them every day. Your life WILL get better!

Home Appliance Warranty Plan Regardless of Appliance Age

January 22nd, 2009 by Karla Buzzell | Tags: , , , | Posted in Appliance Warranty, Home warranty plan, saving money |

Do you live in a home where the appliance warranties have expired? Do you worry what you will do if something breaks down? I did too, as my home was built in the 80’s and my appliances were purchased in the 90’s.

Not to worry! I found what I needed to protect my home at a price that was less than the last warranty I purchased for two appliances! Only $37.95 a month or annually $455.40. This appliance protection plan will cover repairs and labor for mechanical or electrical breakdown, regardless of the age of the appliance. It covers all of your appliances, the internal electrical, plumbing and telephone and even your hot water heater. If you have a breakdown in the middle of the night with your heater or A/C unit, they will dispatch help at once. All you have is a $35 co-pay for a service call. I can now rest easy that I am covered!

If this interests you too, contact me at karlasEnterprises@gmail.com.  If you leave your phone number and a convenient time to talk, I will give you a call.  Otherwise leave me your email address and I will contact you back.
