I work really hard in my home based business so that I can make it big and have time to play hard for years for come.  When I started this business, no one promised me that I would get rich quick or that I did not have to do any work to make it.  The team I am involved in helps me and my team to know how to work productively so that we can make it big within the next few years.

We can fool ourselves into believing that these people were just born with all this. In some cases they were, but in most cases they have all of these nice things because they sacrificed and worked hard for it.

The truth is you can’t. You have to make a choice for yourself right now. Do you want the best out of life or do you want to live an average existence?

Whatever your answer is it’s ok… it really is. If you’re fine with living the life you’re living right now, just keep doing what you’re doing now. But, if you want an extraordinary life you’re going to have to put some effort real solid effort into it.

So you want to know the truth about starting your own home based business? Well here it is…it’s not going to be easy! I know this doesn’t sound like the typical pro-home based business article and I’ll tell you right now…it’s not.

A lot of other articles would tell you that working from home with a home based business is really much easier than it looks, but that’s simply not the truth.  It will not be easy. You will work harder than you ever expected.

The truth is that working from home… is going to take work (imagine that!) but it is SO worth it!

Nothing can provide you the kind of freedom that a home based business can deliver. No job ever will allow you to work a little and play a LOT.  No job will ever allow you to set your own hours, vacation when YOU want to vacation and give yourself a raise whenever you want. NO JOB ANYWHERE!

For those reasons thousands of people start home based businesses every year and sadly many of them will probably fail.

So if home based businesses are so great, why is it that so many people who start them either come away with little or no profit or lose money all together?

The reason is simple… NOBODY IS BEING HONEST WITH THEM! People want overnight success. They want that easy way to make money. That’s why so many home based business owners are willing to sell people a fake bill of goods.

If you want to be successful working from home, you have to first find someone who will be honest with you.  Nothing worth having ever comes without work… PERIOD!

Still, the word “work” isn’t something a lot of people want to hear about when looking at a home based business. All REAL businesses take work and effort, at least in the beginning.

If you are willing to work hard for 12-24 months in a home based business, you can absolutely be in a position where you never have to work again!

So you have to ask yourself… would you be willing to work hard for a few months to have complete freedom for the rest of your life?

When it comes to having success in a home based business, one of the most important things is believing in yourself and your business.  So how do you find a way to believe in yourself when other people like friends and family don’t?

One of the hardest things to deal with when working your home based business is when a friend or a family member doubts your or your business. Sometimes it’s even enough to make people give up on their dreams and quit all together.

While we all want the support of our friends and family, it’s important to know that just because they don’t believe in you or your dreams doesn’t mean they still can’t come true.

Whether it’s your best friend, your cousin Glenn, your Grandma, spouse, co-workers or parents, the sting of having someone you love not believe in your dream is hard to deal with. However it can be over come.

The first thing that home based business owners might want to do is have a sit down talk with their friends, family and loved ones. Let them know that this is a choice that you have made and you’re sticking with it. Be firm.

Let them know that you are going to give this all you have, that you believe in the business you have chosen, and you would love to have their support. Most people who really care about you will be more than happy to stick by you once they know that this is a decision you’ve made and you’re sticking by it.

Keep in mind that some of the people in your life may have had a negative experience with a home based business before. That will no doubt play a part in how they feel about your new business. Don’t let it get you down.

There are a lot of reasons why people fail in home based businesses. Perhaps your friend or family member was just part of a bad company. Maybe they didn’t give it enough time and energy to really see any results. Whatever the reason you need to know that just because some people have not been successful before does NOT mean that you can’t or won’t be.

You want your family to know that you love them and respect their advice. (Even if you’re not going to follow it, ha ha) There is no need to get upset or have an argument just to defend your business.

The best thing to do when someone you love just won’t support you in your decision is just to work hard and prove them wrong.  Nothing makes a negative person eat their words like RESULTS. Trust me, when the people you love see you making money…they’ll come around.

When most people first start a home based business, they are eager to talk to their friends, family, co-workers and pretty much everyone about their new venture. However, after a few failed attempts to make money from home, people become less and less likely to share their new business with the people they care about the most.

“I told you that thing wasn’t going to work out”, “Why don’t you just get a REAL job?” and “What kind of a thing are you trying to get me into this time?” are common phrases that entrepreneurs hear all too often when they talk to their friends and family. To be truly successful working from home, you have to be proud of your business. When you’re proud of your business you will have no trouble talking to the people in your life.

So what is the best approach? People have different opinions on how to present a business to your friends or family but it pretty much just comes down to this. BE DIRECT AND HONEST.

Think of it this way. If you got a new job, a job that could potentially pay you 6 or even 7 figures a year you wouldn’t be ashamed to tell the people you love would you? No way! You would be excited and ready to tell as many people as possible. Well guess what? When you start your own home based business that is exactly what you’ve done. You’ve entered into a business opportunity that could change your life forever, both financially and by giving you the free time to live your life the way you choose! So come right out with it, be excited and be honest. When you are excited and speak with authority other people will get excited for you. If you make it seem like you’re doing something to be ashamed of people will feed off of your negative energy. Don’t give them that chance.

The final thing to know when you’re talking to your friends and family, no matter how amazing the company is, some people are just plain going to have something negative to say about it. That’s just the way it is. You cannot let other people’s negativity drag you down and keep you from reaching your dreams. Some people won’t believe you until you show them your success. So go out there and prove them wrong!

Talking to your family and friends about your new home based business can be a very hard thing to do. But, by speaking to them directly and honestly and not letting their negative comments get you down, you will be well on your way.
